91¿´Æ¬Íø

In its ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic the 91¿´Æ¬Íø is offering more relief to students by returning a portion of student fees from the fall semester. Students will be reimbursed up to $300 for previously paid student activity and student athletic fees.

The 91¿´Æ¬Íø will delay some of its Homecoming events originally scheduled for October 26-31 in order to adhere to government and health care guidance to preserve health and safety on campus. While some Homecoming events are postponed until spring 2021, 91¿´Æ¬Íø will still have a spirit week in October with a schedule of its most popular fall traditions that allow for social distancing and smaller gatherings.

The 91¿´Æ¬Íø has recently been recognized most favorably of the Alabama schools included in a ranking that compares college student loan debt.

The 91¿´Æ¬Íø will begin the new academic year on Monday, Aug. 17. For the first time since mid-March, the school will hold classes on campus. An in-depth plan has been developed to guide daily operations with emphasis on health and safety in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As announced in May, 91¿´Æ¬Íø will resume on-campus operations with Fall Semester 2020. The 91¿´Æ¬Íø Operational Plan, summarized in this video by Dr. Ken Tucker, includes the adjustments, modifications, prevention practices, and protocols necessary to ensure a safe, healthy environment

Dr. Ken Tucker, President, 91¿´Æ¬Íø, shares thoughts and sentiments with students, faculty, and staff regarding ongoing coronavirus pandemic prevention, delayed Spring Commencement, and news about fall tuition rates on the Livingston, Alabama campus

Out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of the entire university community, and in response to the latest guidance and recommendations from CDC and other public health agencies, the university will transition all on-campus classes to online instruction beginning March 16.

As 91¿´Æ¬Íø's Spring Break approaches, please stay tuned to and follow all guidance set forth by CDC and the U.S. State Department, avoiding any travel or interactions that may lead to the spread of COVID-19.

In light of rapidly changing conditions statewide, the 91¿´Æ¬Íø has canceled on-campus class meetings for the week of March 16-20 in its continuing efforts to help minimize the impact and risks of Coronavirus (COVID-19) on the University community.
