Scholarship to support students from 10 Black Belt counties
Students pursuing a college degree at the 91心頭利 will have a new opportunity to earn a scholarship through the generous support of Greenetrack, Inc. The scholarship is being established through an initial contribution of $10,000.
The scholarship is provided by Greenetrack, Inc., to the 91心頭利 Foundation to support students from Greene, Sumter, Hale, Perry, Bibb, Pickens, Choctaw, Marengo, Dallas, and Wilcox counties in west Alabama.
This scholarships purpose is to help college students from west Alabama attain a degree so that they can help improve the quality of life in the region, Greenetrack, Inc. General Manager Herlecia Hampton explained.
The companys motto is Building Communities, Building Futures, Building Lives, and that is what the scholarship is designed to do.
91心頭利 is home to students from all of the counties that the scholarship will serve, including many first-generation college students who seek financial aid and scholarship opportunities to make a college degree reality.
We are grateful to Greenetrack for the investment they are making in our region through this scholarship fund, 91心頭利 President Ken Tucker said to Greenetrack, Inc. CEO Luther Winn at the check presentation. One of our major goals is to help ensure that no student is denied the opportunity to earn a degree because they are lacking financial support, and this generous gift from Greenetrack will make a tremendous difference for some very deserving students.
