Learning Through Experience
At the CBC, we believe some of the best learning happens outdoors.
Our lifelong learning opportunities are designed to be interactive, engaging, and accessible to individuals with a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. Whether you are a seasoned naturalist or just beginning to explore the outdoors, there is always something new to discover.
Participants may explore trails, practice identifying plants and wildlife, collect and examine samples, participate in guided investigations, or simply spend time observing and learning about the natural world.
Programs will be offered in small-group settings to encourage exploration, discussion, and hands-on participation. Experiences may include weekday morning or afternoon sessions and occasional Saturday programs. While most opportunities will be designed with adult learners in mind, select programs may also welcome older youth with an interest in nature and science.
